Supporting the Theatres Trust in getting its messages across.
I am delighted to have been appointed to work with Theatres Trust on its marketing, social media and Press and PR. I'll be working with Mary Rahman of MR PR, to support the organisation as it finishes it's 40th year celebrations and moves into a new period, with a new CEO, new theatre archive and a renewed vigour.
The Theatres Trust
The Theatre's Trust remit is to protect theatres for everyone! The organisation promotes the better protection of theatre buildings to protect the future of live theatre; promotes the quality and design of existing and new theatres ; protects important historic theatres so that they can be used as theatres in the future and makes sure theatre buildings meet the needs and demands of the theatre industry and audiences.
A joined up Marketing and PR offer
Mary and I met when working together in the marketing department of Theatre Royal Stratford East. This was way back in the early 2000s, and since then we have both worked with a wide variety of arts and cultural clients. We come together to work on projects where the client needs strategic marketing and PR support. We use our skills and experience to offer strategy and planning, support for organisation's in delivering their strategies and hands-on marketing and PR work as required. We have a particular speciality in developing diverse audiences, although we often work on projects where this is not a key issue as well. Previously to the Theatres Trust we worked together on projects for sampad, and on the major crafts project, The Shape of Things.
